Built on Real Experience
Our owner has taught Pilates for over a decade as an Indiana Board Certified PTA, and every instructor on our team brings their own years of experience and accredited certifications. You’re never getting a brand-new trainer running through a script.
Results-Focused, Goal-Oriented Workouts
Every session at Foundations is built around what you’re working toward, whether that’s pain-free movement, more strength, better mobility, or returning to a sport. We don’t run generic classes. We program with intent.
Individual + Small Group Classes
Choose how you train. Our small group classes run 4 to 10 participants for hands-on instruction without the crowd, and we also offer 1-on-1 private sessions plus duo, trio, and small group appointments when you want more focused attention.
Whole-Body Wellness, Not Just a Workout
Pilates is the heart of what we do, but it’s not the only thing. You can also book yoga, barre, mat Pilates, sound bath, fascial stretch, and myofascial release here.
We offer small group classes (4-10 participants) and private, duo, trio & group appointments.
The reformer is a unique, special workout that the more you practice it the more natural it feels. Spring resistance allows you to work strength, mobility, and core stability in one move. Our group reformer classes cap at 4 participants, so your instructor can adjust your form & resistance in real time. Beyond the reformer, our studio is equipped with a tower, chair, jump board, and infinity footbar, giving your body variety and new movement patterns to adapt to. Reformer-based work also responds well for back pain, scoliosis, and post-injury recovery, since spring resistance lets us meet your body where it is and build strength. New to it? Start with our Intro to Reformer class.
Pregnancy and the first year after birth change everything about how your body moves and feels. Our prenatal and postpartum sessions blend Pilates, yoga, and fitness with safe modifications every trimester and gentle return-to-fitness protocols after delivery. Our instructors have continuing education in pre/postnatal training, diastasis recti, and pelvic floor recovery. We also allow you to bring your non-crawling littles to class with you.
One-on-one Pilates sessions built around your body, your goals, and your schedule. Best if you’re recovering from an injury, training for a sport, or just do not like the class setting. Private sessions are where you’ll get to work on the Cadillac, alongside the rest of our equipment. We also offer duo, trio, and small group appointments at a lower per-person rate, so you can train with friends, family, or a workout partner.
No reformer, no problem. Our mat-based Pilates classes include Mat Pilates, Barre, and TRX. Great cross-training for runners and cyclists, and easy to pair with your cardio schedule.
Tight hips from desk work? Stiff after runs? Our yoga classes include yin restorative and flow-based strength vinyasa. Every class is taught by certified instructors who scale poses to your body.
Pilates is our foundation, but we go further. Our wellness class offerings cover prenatal/postpartum support, stretching, myofascial release, and sound bath. We also offer private appointments for assisted stretching fascial stretch therapy, cupping, and scraping. They are designed to help you feel stronger and move better in everyday life.

Room for Rent for a Health & Wellness EntrepreneurÂ
Foundations Studio is a locally owned, instructor-operated Pilates, yoga, and wellness studio on the north side of Indianapolis, open since October 2020. Our owner is an Indiana Board Certified Physical Therapy Assistant with certifications in Balanced Body Pilates, Peak Pilates, TRX, Fascial Stretch Therapy, Titleist Performance Institute, and ACSM Personal Training. Every instructor on our team holds accredited certifications, and our group classes are kept small for real personal attention. We built this studio for people who want personal instruction and real results, not another packed-room workout.

How much does a class cost?
Pricing varies by class type and package. We offer intro packages, single classes, and class packs (no memberships). Call us at 317-475-0993 and we’ll walk you through the options that fit your schedule and budget.
I've never done Pilates. Where do I start?
Start with our Intro to Pilates Reformer class or a private session. Both are designed for total beginners and are required before joining a group class unless you have previous experience on the reformer. You’ll learn the equipment, the basic movements, and what to expect before joining a regular group class.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and comfortable clothes you can move in. We provide water in the studio. Grip socks aren’t required, but you’re welcome to wear them. If you’d prefer your own mat for mat-based classes, feel free to bring it. Otherwise, we have you covered.
Can I do Pilates if I have back pain or an old injury?
Yes, and many of our clients come to us for exactly that reason. Our instructors are trained to work around injuries and build strength safely, and we usually recommend starting with a private session so we can program the right approach for your body.
How small are your classes?
Our reformer classes cap at 4 participants. All mat-based classes (Mat Pilates, Barre, Yoga) cap at 10. Private, duo, trio, and small group appointments are also available.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We’re in Northview Mall, across from North Central High School, near 86th & Westfield. Look for us in the northwest corner of the courtyard. Our schedule runs early morning through evening with classes available outside standard hours. Check our online schedule or call 317-475-0993 for the current week.
